  21. What is Fresh Icons?

Well, it's just a tiny repair utility. If you mess with Windows Explorer you may have noticed that sometimes (or quite often actually ;-) Explorer starts to display wrong icons for some file types. Now Fresh Icons comes to help. By running it, it instructs Windows to refresh icons displayed on the Desktop and in Windows Explorer etc.
  25. After executing it won't stay in memory, it just sends icon update request to Windows and terminates. So, each time you want to refresh icons, you must execute it. It's yours how you execute it. Some people like to put all their apps into the system tray, others have Desktop full of links etc...
  26. Please note that Fresh Icons cannot help you to refresh the icons displayed on Windows98/IE4  application toolbar. Seems this toolbar uses it's own internal icon caching, so it doesn't respond to standard system update request.
